Please disregard the comic reviews category, people. Seems it’s the only category we have at the moment. This one should be under Movie Reviews.
I first saw this flick a little over ten years ago and rented it as a “Chad’s Pick”, which means that I was taking a risk as I never heard of it before but something about it caught my attention. Sometimes Chad Picks work and sometimes . . . . but I digress.
Simply put, this is one of the most powerful films I have ever seen. The impact of several scenes in this movie will have you feeling as if you’ve been placed inside an
emotional blender.
I recently caught this movie again on the IFC (Independent Film Channel) so if you have the IFC check the listings as it seems to come around every few months. If not,
go rent it. And. as always, you can thank me later.
